We are looking for a motivated Receptionist. This is a part-time position/job share with hours from 08:00 to 17:30 (Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday) and 08:00 to 13:45 or 11:45 to 17:30 on a Wednesday, on a weekly rotational shift basis Monday to Friday, covering for sickness and holiday. This is subject to change after March, with full-time cover until the end of March.
Location: Northampton, NN7 2FR
Pay: Β£12.63 per hour
Responsibilities include:
- Providing a professional, efficient and friendly welcome to all visitors and callers, ensuring they are transferred to their appointed employee in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a professional telephone manner when receiving and transferring calls to/from the main switchboard.
- Effectively carrying out associated administrative and site activities, including managing incoming and outgoing post, arranging buffets, and providing PPE for visitors.
- Ensuring all contractors or third parties working on site have the required permits and are directed to the appropriate employee to complete works.
- Maintaining appropriate stationary and ancillary supplies to ensure stocks remain at required levels, placing orders or requesting replenishment as necessary.
- Ensuring meeting rooms are kept in a clean and tidy condition, escalating issues as necessary.
