Are you looking for a new challenge as a Packing Operative? We have an exciting opportunity available with our client in Deeside. As a Packing Operative, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day packing operations within the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include efficiently packing goods according to company standards and safety protocols.
Main Job Role:
- To ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Ensure all products meet quality requirements and are within specification.
- Report any issues of quality or production specifications direct to the Shift Leader.
- Maintain efficient and accurate records of outbound and holding stock levels and any stock movement issues during the shipping process and report any issues direct to the Shift Leader immediately.
- To develop a personal knowledge and understanding of the business focus and plans.
- To commit to continuous personal improvement in regard to the mechanical packaging equipment and any related adjustments issues required.
- Responsible for ensuring the high standards of quality, hygiene and general cleanliness of the facility during your shift pattern and in times of non-production.
- Assist the factory management with all other reasonable work-related requests.
Skills & Knowledge needed:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing role preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in packing orders.
- Physical stamina to lift and move packages as needed.
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
