Location: Chester Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 Friday: 08:30 – 12:30 Salary: Β£42,000 Permanent Role We are looking for a Manufacturing Project Engineer to help improve and maintain production processes. This role focuses on plant and equipment in the business, improvements to existing processes, lean experience, creation of standard operating procedures / Manufacturing Instructions Key Responsibilities: Produce efficient & effective manufacturing solutions for products Produce, control, and standardise all manufacturing instructions to produce conforming products efficiently Ensure machine capability with regards to manufacturing solutions Ensure correct tooling, equipment & fixtures with regards to the manufacturing solution and manufacturing instructions Manage projects & deliver required manufacturing solution capability Continuous improvement of solutions, manufacturing instructions, quality – NCR\’s, health & safety, and efficiency – including understanding of best practise, new practise, and innovations. Requirements: Experience of successfully working within an engineering focused environment which incorporated elements of: Experience in the following manufacturing processes: Fabrications, Assembly, Casting, Machining (not specifically only CNC) Ability to build good working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business Competent with the use of MS Office Able to train others in continuous improvement and root cause techniques Excellent problem-solving skills Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality system Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Proven experience in leading projects Proven experience in leading lean and route cause analysis projects/training Qualifications: HNC/HND in an engineering discipline If you\’re looking for your next opportunity and meet the above criteria, we\’d love to hear from you.
