About the Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join their team in Chester. This is an exciting opportunity to support the sales team, drive sales performance, and identify growth opportunities in the region.

Role Overview:

As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and supporting the sales team in meeting targets. You will collaborate closely with the Branch Manager and other team members to identify and pursue sales opportunities, ensuring that customer needs are met with excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team in meeting KPIs and sales targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, identifying growth opportunities
  • Work with the Branch Manager to identify new sales leads and business opportunities
  • Assist the team in delivering high levels of customer service
  • Help manage and track sales pipelines, ensuring accurate reporting of leads and opportunities
  • Take responsibility for key accounts, maximizing their potential and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Contribute to maintaining margin levels and driving profitability in line with company targets
  • Support day-to-day sales operations, including preparing quotes, handling customer queries, and addressing urgent sales needs

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Builders Merchant environment is essential
  • Proven experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and contribute to growth within existing accounts
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate customer interaction records
