Pertemps are recruiting for a Trainee Field Engineer. This role does not require previous experience; however, the successful candidate will be reliable, eager and willing to learn. A full clean driving licence is required for this role. Must be able to commute to site in Kidderminster early morning to collect the van and meet the team.
The Duties of a Trainee Field Engineer:
- Working on-site with experienced engineers across the UK
- Supporting with mechanical and electrical tasks
- Handling tools, machinery, and equipment
- Some nights away from home (accommodation & expenses paid)
- Physically active role – must be comfortable with manual work
- Driving to and from job sites in a company-provided Transit van
The Requirements of a Trainee Field Engineer:
- A clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to work early starts and long hours (50+ hours/week)
- Physically fit and happy working outdoors/in industrial environments
- A strong interest in learning Mechanical/Electrical engineering
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must be comfortable with occasional overnight stays
