Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing and innovative manufacturing client based in Leamington Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FLT Reach and/or Counterbalance Driver to join a forward-thinking business offering genuine long-term prospects and full training on specialist machinery.
Job Role:
- Operate FLT Counterbalance trucks to unload stock from racking
- Machine Setup and Adjustment: Preparing and adjusting printing presses (flexographic, lithographic, offset, or digital) by installing plates, cylinders, and setting up inking systems.
- Production Operation: Operating machinery, loading paper/substrates, adjusting tension, and managing ink flow during the print run.
- Load stock into trailers in line with health & safety standards
- Support press machine operations (full training provided)
- Shrink wrap pallets and prepare orders for dispatch
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Shift Pattern β Team 4:
You will work a rotating continental shift pattern, consisting of 12-hour shifts (days and nights) with regular rest days:
- Day shift (06:00β18:30)
- Night shift (18:00β06:30)
The shifts have been designed by their current employees to ensure they get the best working hours with days off. Example 4-week rotation:
- Week 1: OFF OFF OFF / DAYS DAYS DAYS DAYS
- Week 2: OFF OFF OFF / NIGHTS NIGHTS NIGHTS NIGHTS
- Week 3: NIGHTS NIGHTS NIGHTS / OFF OFF OFF OFF
- Week 4: DAYS DAYS DAYS / OFF OFF OFF OFF
This pattern then repeats. Each shift is 12 hours with a 30-minute unpaid break. You must be flexible to work both days and nights as part of the rotation.
