Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting for a Site Technician to support an Education Trust with day-to-day site maintenance and facilities operations. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands-on maintenance experience and a Fully Enhanced DBS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and caretaking duties
- Support caretakers and the facilities management team
- Complete health & safety checks, site inspections, and routine maintenance
- Manage deliveries, stock, and booking items in and out
- Use basic IT skills to log tasks, update records, and communicate via email
- Handle phone calls, liaising with contractors, cleaning teams, and management
- Assist in coordinating cleaners, contractor access, and daily site operations
- Ensure the school premises are safe, secure, and well-maintained
Essential Requirements:
- Fully Enhanced DBS (mandatory)
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, caretaking, or site support role
- Strong hands-on maintenance skills
- Confident using basic IT systems and completing admin tasks
- Good communication and organisational skills
