About the role:
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Machine Setter to join a well-established precision engineering business in Wolverhampton. The role involves setting up and operating injection moulding machines and producing high-quality components to strict specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate injection moulding machines, controlling cycle times, temperatures, and pressures
- Load materials and monitor machine parameters to ensure consistent quality
- Inspect moulded parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and defects
- Install, align, remove, and maintain moulds
- Record production data, scrap rates, and support process improvements
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
Candidate Requirements (Mandatory):
- Demonstrated experience across all injection moulding operations
- Competent in quality control, mould setup and handling, process monitoring, and routine maintenance
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and accurately use inspection tools
- Committed to health and safety with a reliable and professional approach
