About the role:

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Die Cast Machine Setter to join a well-established precision engineering business in Wolverhampton. The role involves setting up and operating die casting machines and producing high-quality components to strict standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate die casting machines, controlling cycle times and parameters
  • Load alloy ingots and monitor melting temperatures
  • Inspect parts for quality and correct defects
  • Install, align, remove, and maintain dies
  • Record production data and support process improvement
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards

Candidate Requirements (Mandatory):

  • Proven experience in all aspects of die casting operations
  • Skilled in quality control, die handling, process monitoring, and basic maintenance
  • Ability to read engineering documentation and use inspection tools
  • Strong safety awareness and reliability
