We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Internal Sales Executive to join their well-established team based near Kingston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven sales experience in the electrical wholesale industry who is looking to join a stable, supportive company with a strong commercial client base.

Please note: Sales experience within an electrical wholesale environment is essential for this role. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

About the Role:

You’ll work alongside the Sales Manager and be part of a tight-knit team of four, handling incoming quotes and orders via phone and email. This role focuses on commercial trading accounts and project-based orders, so experience managing large or complex orders is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and high levels of service.
  • Respond to daily enquiries, quotes, and orders promptly and professionally.
  • Identify new business opportunities through existing contacts and proactive outreach.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to close deals while maintaining profitability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet shared team sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  • Previous internal sales experience in the electrical wholesale industry is essential.
  • Confidence in managing commercial accounts and handling significant order values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
