Goods In Manager-Electrical Wholesale

We’re recruiting for a proactive and experienced Goods In Manager to join a well-established and respected electrical wholesaler based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of key internal operations and play a hands-on role in supporting the continued growth and efficiency of a busy, successful branch. What’s on Offer Salary up to £40,000 (depending on experience) Annual performance-related bonus Company pension scheme Free on-site parking Regular company events and a supportive working cultureYour Role Reporting to Senior Management, you’ll be responsible for overseeing goods-in processes, leading internal teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll work closely with both suppliers and customers, so confidence, communication, and industry know-how are key. Key Responsibilities: Oversee goods-in processes, stock levels, and delivery management Organise and maintain the warehouse and storage areas Motivate and lead the internal team to deliver excellent service Serve customers at the trade counter when required Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key accounts Coordinate with the external sales team on order fulfilment Ensure the branch meets health and safety standards and is kept in good order Carry out keyholding duties as part of the management teamWhat We’re Looking For At least 3 years\’ experience in the electrical wholesale industry (essential) Strong product knowledge and familiarity with key suppliers and contractors Experience in managing internal teams and overseeing stock control Confident communicator with strong organisational skills Proactive, hands-on, and team-oriented Previous supervisory or management experience (preferred) Full UK driving licence (preferred)Interested?
