Factory Operative Location: Wolverhampton Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday), 8:00am – 3:30pm (Friday) Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a Wolverhampton-based engineering business that specialises surface coatings for components used across a wide range of industries. We are seeking a reliable Factory Operative to join their production team. This role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work within a supportive and safety-focused environment. Key Duties: Operating lifting equipment to safely move and position components Preparing and coating products to customer specifications Carrying out processes similar to shot blasting to treat metal surfaces Ensuring accurate handling and recording of parts throughout production Working to strict health & safety guidelines and maintaining a tidy work area Supporting colleagues and assisting with general factory duties as required The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a factory, production, or engineering environment (preferred) Ability to follow processes accurately and pay close attention to detail A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Good awareness of health and safety in the workplace This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, growing business where full training will be provided.
