The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven External Sales Representative to manage and develop a defined customer base while identifying and converting new business opportunities within the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts
- Proactively identify and win new business
- Conduct regular customer visits and site meetings
- Provide product advice and tailored electrical solutions
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Work closely with internal sales and branch teams
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in external sales, ideally within electrical wholesale
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Commercially focused and target driven
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
