We’re now looking for an inspiring and experienced Employability Coordinator to lead and grow a flagship employability programme, “The Way 2 Work.” 🌟 About the Role As the Employability Coordinator, you’ll take charge of developing, delivering and evaluating an ambitious programme that prepares young people for the world of work. You’ll: Coordinate recruitment, delivery and retention of participants Build partnerships with local employers and training providers Deliver engaging workshops and personalised 1-to-1 support Create innovative opportunities to help young people develop skills, confidence, and pathways into employment or training Oversee externally funded projects and report on progress and outcomes Be a visible, motivating role model and mentor to young people from all backgrounds This is a hands-on role for someone who believes every young person deserves the chance to succeed — especially those who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training), disengaged, or facing barriers. 👀 What We’re Looking For Proven experience delivering employability programmes to young people aged 16–25 Skilled in engaging vulnerable or hard-to-reach young people A strong communicator who can build trust and inspire confidence Experience supporting NEET young people into positive destinations Experience working collaboratively with schools, employers, and partners A creative mindset, with the ability to develop fresh, impactful approaches A background in youth work, guidance, or education Experience managing volunteers or youth workers (desirable) Be flexible to work some evenings and weekends
