Pertemps are currently looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established engineering and fabrication business based in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled team within a modern, fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MIG welding and fabrication on mild steel and other materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately to ensure precise fabrication.
- Work to tight quality and safety standards across all welded components.
- Carry out fabrication tasks including cutting, prepping, and assembling components.
- Collaborate effectively within a production team to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
