Overview:
Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for an experienced 18th Edition Qualified Electrician to take on a Supervising Electrician role within a commercial and industrial environment based in the heart of the Midlands. The role involves maintenance work, EV charger installations, circuit design, testing, and supervision of apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
- Install and commission EV charging points
- Design and modify electrical circuits and perform load calculations
- Carry out testing and inspections in line with BS 7671
- Supervise apprentices and ensure health & safety compliance
- Maintain accurate records and certifications
Requirements:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Essential
- Level 3 Electrical Installation (NVQ or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing
- Experience in commercial/industrial environments
- EV charger installation experience
- Full UK driving licence Essential
- Flexibility for occasional weekend
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday (Days)
Pay Rate:
- £20.00 – £22.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Permanent position offered after a successful trial period
