Overview
Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Fabricator Welder to join our well-established client based in Smethwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful and growing business. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in both fabrication and welding, with a background in working with structural steel components.
Key Responsibilities
- Perfom MIG welding on a variety of metal components to precise specifications
- Fabricate structural assemblies including weighbridges and ramps
- Weld and fabricate end plates and pin stools
- Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- Work with mild steel thicknesses ranging from 5mm to 25mm
- Ensure all fabrication and welding meets quality and industry standards
- Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure continuous improvement in processes and output
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday, 06:30 am – 4:15 pm (Fridays off) – 37.5 hours per week. Plenty of overtime available.
Pay Rate
£15.00 per hour
Permanent position offered after a successful trial period.
