Pertemps West Bromwich are currently working with a local client looking for Drivers Mates to support busy delivery routes in and around Wednesbury. This is an ad-hoc role, perfect for anyone who wants work that fits around their lifestyle while still keeping active and earning.
Pay: £12.21ph
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting the driver with locating and delivering parcels
- Handballing items up to 30kg per person (always safe, shared lifts or supported where needed)
- Providing great customer service on deliveries
Start Times:
- Shifts can start anytime between 5:00am – 8:00am
- Finish time is when the route has been completed – no two days are the same!
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, driver’s mate or similar roles
- Comfortable with early starts and manual handling
- Able to lift and move items up to 30kg safely
- Reliable, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
- Driving licence is advantageous but not essential
