Salary: £15.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday- Friday 07:30- 16:30 (flexible)

We are currently recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator for our client who offers rental equipment and managed services to various sectors, including construction, infrastructure, industrial, events, facilities management, and government.

As a Welder/Fabricator your duties will be:

  • Carrying out structural welds i.e., coding in MAG fillet welds and Butt welds.
  • Fabricating hoist accessories such as gates, enclosures, and weld repairs of equipment.
  • Mainly MIG welding, however, some Stick welding may be involved.
  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings in order to fabricate equipment to the design specifications.

The successful Welder/Fabricator will have the following skills:

  • Must be a qualified Welder/Fabricator.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Ideally have coding's to carry out structural welds but not essential.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Work well as part of a team as well as individually.
