Our client is a privately owned engineering company who work mainly with the petrochemical and food industries, and are keen to train and develop a new recruit. They are ideally seeking somebody who already has some basic engineering knowledge which may have been gained in previous employment or through education.
Responsibilities:
- You will learn to work from technical drawings/specification sheets.
- MIG/TIG Welding - you will learn to weld to a high standard.
- You will be involved in all areas of production and welding.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have a background in some form of basic engineering.
- Any exposure to any welding/fabrication would be advantageous.
- Previous use of tools and working in a hands-on role.
- Express an interest in learning about production and welding process from start to finish.
