Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Role: Maintenance Technician (Mechanical Bias) Location: Winsford, Cheshire Hours: Monday – Friday 07:30 – 15:45 Salary: £38,000 + Overtime & On-Call Payments We are proud to be working in partnership with a long-established and highly respected industrial manufacturing business in the Winsford area to recruit an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background. This is a hands-on, site-based role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a mix of planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns to keep operations running smoothly. As the Maintenance Technician your duties will be; Reacting to mechanical breakdowns across a busy manufacturing site Conducting routine planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) Replacing bearings, gland packing, belt and chain drives Assisting with equipment installation and upgrades Ensuring safe and compliant working practices at all times The successful Maintenance Technician will hold the following; We are looking for a mechanically skilled engineer or technician with: Proven maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under pressure.
