We have an exciting opportunity to work for a multi-discipline, fast growing consultancy in their office based in Bath. They are looking for an Associate Civil Engineer to be in charge of improving standards, managing clients, checking drawings, and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians. This person’s role would include around 30% design and 70% team and client management, business development.

They are looking for someone who ideally comes from an infrastructure/drainage design background with client-facing experience. You will be working in a range of sectors including a mixture of residential, industrial, and commercial projects.

You will needa degree in civil engineering and be undertaking professional development towards Chartered Engineer status. The ideal candidate should have some experience in working to Eurocodes/British Standards, and have experience using 3D modelling, as well as having strong communication and interpersonal skills in the English language. The successful candidate should be keen to develop professionally with the aim of leading projects and growing the consultancy.

Salary – £55,000-£65,000 dependant on experience

Requirements

This consultancy is open to a Principal Engineer taking the next step to Associate, or a seasoned Associate who might have their eyes on a senior management position in the coming future.
