Our specialist engineering client based in Stafford Park is looking for a full-time temporary experienced project manager for a minimum contract of three months, which may go on longer for the right candidate.
Salary: £19.03 - £24.03 per hour D.O.E
Hours: 8 – 4.45pm Monday – Friday (Early Finish Friday)
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- The profitable delivery of contracts and small works from post tender stage.
- Ensuring that contracts are completed on time, on budget and whilst meeting all QA/HSE standards and requirements.
- Developing excellent relationships with the business’s clients.
- Day to day management of the project.
- Providing first class client support and account management by delivering excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Providing professionally produced & timely progress reports and project updates.
- Ensuring relevant technical and commercial information is provided to help meet both the clients and the businesses.
- Expanding where possible the businesses portfolio with the client.
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organisation, to define and achieve mutual understanding of the scope of supply.
The ideal candidate for this Project Manager position will:
- Have Project Management experience within an engineering environment.
- Have proven experience of scope and schedule management, risk and issue management, finance and cost control management, resource and people management.
- Exhibit experience of facilitating workshops and meetings.
- Have personal and professional experience to build and manage relationships across the team in order to deliver successful projects.
- Be organised.
- Have the ability to think on their feet, to ensure completion of projects.
