Seeking a proactive and hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead a team within a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, effective people management, and the ability to maintain operational efficiency across multiple processes. A background in manufacturing, engineering, or production leadership is highly advantageous.

Role Duties

  • Control of manufacturing schedules and staffing, to meet site budget expectations.
  • Support Lean processes including 5s and CI activities where necessary and suggest improvements if applicable.
  • Support and engage compliance to all policies and procedures to the required standard.
  • Build a good rapport with operators, demonstrating collaboration and a firm but fair approach.
  • Use scheduling screens to ensure all work stays on target or ahead of schedule.
  • Manage non-compliance of operators in scheduling, performance, behaviour and conduct in line with company policies.
  • React quickly to shopfloor issues as necessary and in the safest manner.
  • Comply with H&S regulations and ensure operators are adhering at all times.
  • Manage attendance of employees, including Return to Work, wellbeing and OH.
  • Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude at all times, with flexibility to site needs as necessary.

Hours of Work

34 hours per week rotating shifts Mon-Thu - 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00-22:00 (30min break) Fri - 06:00-10:00 / 11:00-15:00 (no break)
