We are currently recruiting for a full time temporary to permanent CNC machine operator, to join our well-established and expanding client based in Halesfield, to come and join their hardworking team.
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high quality components. You will be setting up and operating the CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling and turning, whilst reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and CAD files.
In addition, you will be preparing and loading raw materials and other parts into the machine, and adjusting settings to ensure precision and quality. You will be inspecting and measuring the finished products to make sure they meet specifications.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery and tooling
- Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good communication
- Flexible/Reliable
Hours: 7.30-5pm Monday – Thursday, 7.30 – 2pm
Salary: £13.00 per hour
