Powder Coater – Trainee Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Powder Coater on behalf of our client based in Telford, Shropshire on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate, will be looking for an opportunity to develop within an organisation, work well within a small team and will be open to learning all aspects of the business as part of the companies long-term plan to develop their staff. Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00am 17:00pm & Fri 8:00am 16:00pm | 45 minutes for lunch. Pay: £11.74 per hour. Duties Include but not limited to: Picking stock from the warehouse using internally generated works orders. Ensure picked product is accurate prior to powder coating. Use of power tools, Dremel, buffing wheel. Disassembly of products using hand tools. Cleaning, masking & hanging of components. Powder coating components. Effective oven management to ensure maximum efficiency. Quality checking components post powder coating to ensure they are to the correct standard. Ensuring appropriate throughput of parts through the powder coating process to achieve efficient productivity; this may involve starting a process or completing a process outside normal working hours.
