We are currently recruiting for a Planner role for a progressive business involved in the supply and installation of products into the hospitality industry. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be on the front-line dealing with Engineers across the UK, arranging reactive and pre-planned works. As such, we require somebody who is dynamic and able to operate at pace, all whilst dealing with an array of issues from end-user clients.
Your main responsibilities as a Planner will include:
- Coordinating both via telephone and software platforms to organise jobs for field-based engineers
- Ordering new kit and planning around stock availability
- Organising contractor passes required for sensitive locations (i.e. airports, train stations)
- Maintaining a strong level of customer service at all times with colleagues and customers alike
- General administrative tasks, such as inputting job details and forecasting for upcoming requirements
In order to be successful for this role, candidates will need to demonstrate:
- Strong ability to prioritise and plan jobs, in terms of both physical geography and availability of resources
- Proven ability in a highly detailed, phone-based environment
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
- Good data entry experience
