FLT Driver

Favourable day shifts (10:00-18:30) Clean, modern & friendly environment IMMEDIATE start and possibility of ongoing work We are currently recruiting for a time-served Forklift (FLT) Driver with an in-date Counterbalance certificate from an external, accreditating body. This is an exciting role for a leading logistics and distribution business, that is enjoying year-on-year growth. As part of their fulfilment team, you would be utilised both on & off the MHE. As such, we require candidates who are comfortable with more physical warehouse duties; this is not a 100% forklift driving role, so please do not apply if this is your priority. As part of our FLT Driver position, your daily duties will include: – Daily operation of a Counterbalance fork lift, helping to sequence pallets and load lorry trailers – Pick & pack orders using a PDT – Stacking and wrapping pallets – General housekeeping of your work station – Maintaining a fast pace of order fulfilment with your colleagues Rate of pay for this role will be circa £12.64 per hour. Days of work: Monday to Friday Working shift: 10am – 6:30pm Qualities desired: – Minimum 12 months experience working as an FLT Driver – In-date MHE certificate – Strong work ethic with a good attention to detail – Good sense of humour Benefits include internal training, staff welfare initiatives and some overtime opportunities.
