Paralegal / Legal Assistant A Great Opportunity to Join a Growing Legal Team We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our client’s expanding team based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong legal background, who is looking to take the next step in their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with our legal department, providing vital support across a wide range of legal and administrative matters. The ideal candidate will have either a law degree (or be working towards one), or previous experience in a similar legal support role. Key Responsibilities of this Paralegal / Legal Assistant : Drafting transfers of whole and part Sourcing and reviewing Land Registry compliant plans Coordinating director signatures on approved transfers Submitting and managing Land Registry applications, including handling title requisitions Reviewing, refining, and reporting on Section 106 agreement data Managing critical legal deadlines and updating team calendars Compiling legal packs and ordering legal searches Setting up legal documents for development sites Negotiating and completing Section Agreements Providing day-to-day office and administrative support, including: Typing correspondence and reports Managing office supplies and equipment Handling incoming/outgoing post and phone calls Booking meeting rooms and coordinating schedules Filing, shredding, copying, and general admin tasksSkills required for this Paralegal / Legal Assistant : A legal qualification (or working towards one) or prior experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant Previous experience in property or development law (desirable) Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines High levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint A full UK driving licence is preferredDetails of this Paralegal / Legal Assistant: Competitive salary (£26,000 – £30,000 depending on experience) Flexible working options (full-time or part-time over 5 days) Pension contributions: 5% employee / 6% employer (with matching up to 7.5%) Life assurance (4x salary) Private healthcare 26 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata for part-time employees) Location: Stoke-on-TrentPlease note, only candidates whose experience closely aligns with our requirements will be contacted.
