Pertemps are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Coatings Team Leader with a strong background in manufacturing and production environments. Skilled in supervising paint line operations, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring high-quality output within strict deadlines. Proven ability to lead teams, train operatives, maintain equipment, and support continuous operational improvement.

Main duties of this Paint Team Leader role:

  • Supervise daily operations of two paint line units and oversee paint line operatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Establish and follow operating procedures for paint and printing machinery.
  • Carry out equipment inspections and oversee cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Report faults, malfunctions, and production issues to site management.
  • Review completed work to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.
  • Operate forklifts and manufacturing equipment as required.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to new and existing team members.
  • Support the Coatings Manager and provide cover when required.
  • Assist wider site operations to maintain smooth production flow.
