Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver and collect generators and related equipment to and from customer locations using various vehicle types.
- Load and unload equipment accurately, following customer specifications.
- Set up equipment on-site, including starting generators, connecting fuel tanks, performing checks, and providing basic operational guidance.
- Deliver fuel to customer sites using fuel tankers or bowsers.
- Ensure all equipment is checked, secured, and matches accompanying documentation.
- Assist customers with cable management on-site as needed.
- Support maintenance and housekeeping duties in the yard, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company procedures, including tachograph and vehicle safety checks.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- LGV License (C+E / Old Class 1).
- Experience operating relevant vehicle types (e.g., rigid wagon with drawbar trailer up to 44 tons, tractor unit with 45' flatbed trailer).
- Digital Tachograph card holder.
- Flexibility to work early starts and late finishes as required.
Desirable:
- Lorry Loader Licence (ALLMI or RTITB preferred) with proven experience.
- ADR Licence (Class 3 Tanks & Packages).
- Driver’s CPC Certification.
- CPCS Card Holder.
