Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team based onsite in Solihull. This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, budgeting, and business decision-making within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and variance analysis
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with senior stakeholders
  • Analyse financial performance and provide clear commentary and recommendations
  • Assist with cost control, margin analysis, and operational reporting
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data integrity
  • Support year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors where required

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator, able to explain financial information clearly
