Due to continued growth, we are now looking to expand our team with a motivated and results-driven Recruitment Consultant.
About the Role:
This is a 360-recruitment role, giving you full ownership of the recruitment process from business development through to candidate placement and aftercare. You will work within the commercial division, recruiting for roles such as administration, customer service, sales, and office support positions. You’ll have the autonomy to build and grow your own desk, supported by experienced management, modern tools, and a collaborative team environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys both sales and people-focused work and is looking to develop a long-term career in recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business through proactive sales activity including cold calling, networking, and client meetings
- Build and manage a portfolio of clients across the West Midlands
- Take detailed job briefs and provide consultative advice on recruitment strategies
- Source candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking
- Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates in line with client requirements
- Manage the full interview and offer process, including feedback and negotiation
- Maintain strong candidate relationships, ensuring a positive experience throughout
- Keep CRM systems and candidate records fully up to date
- Work towards and exceed individual billing and activity targets
