Through their services in smart metering, installation, data services, EV charging infrastructure, and the electrification of heat, they are driving the transition toward a more sustainable future. In this role, you\’ll use your own vehicle to visit both residential and commercial locations within your designated area to obtain accurate utility meter readings and conduct visual inspections of metering equipment, ensuring all information is recorded promptly and correctly using the company’s mobile application. Key Responsibilities • Visit residential, commercial, and industrial premises to read utility meters, carry out visual inspections, and deliver customer documentation where required. • Accurately record and submit customer data using the mobile app or designated worksheets. • Identify and report any safety-critical damage or irregularities to metering systems in line with company policy. • Ensure compliance with GDPR and always uphold customer data confidentiality. • Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act. • Support the business by upholding Calisen’s values, policies, and procedures, and carrying out any additional duties requested by management This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting new people and are comfortable engaging with customers. Our client provides comprehensive training, along with regular inductions held across the country, to ensure you\’re well-prepared for the role. Job Details • Salary: £12.60 per hour + bonuses • Mileage reimbursement: 30.5p per mile • Location: Portsmouth • Working Week: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hrs per week – between 8am-8pm • Duration: Temp to Perm after 15 weeks assignment (if performing to standards) The Essentials (MUST HAVE) • Driving Licence, entitling you to drive in the UK – with no more than 6 points. • Use of your own vehicle with business insurance and current MOT. • Basic DBS check.
