Our client, a well-established and reputable electronics manufacturing business based on the Isle of Wight, is currently recruiting Manufacturing Operatives to support their production team on a temporary basis. This role would suit candidates with an interest in electronics manufacturing or previous experience working with components, assembly, or soldering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly of electronic components in line with production specifications
- Carrying out soldering tasks (through-hole and/or surface mount, depending on role)
- Working with small components and precision tools
- Visual inspection and basic quality checks
- Following technical instructions, drawings, and work orders
- Adhering to health & safety and quality standards at all times
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within electronics manufacturing, assembly, or soldering is desirable
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to Monday‑Friday working hours
- IPC certification beneficial but not essential
