About the Role: We are looking for a Yard Operative/Forklift Driver to join our Client in Eastleigh on a permanent basis ASAP! You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and overall upkeep and appearance of the depot’s Rental fleet. To provide general assistance in the yard, including loading and offloading equipment and to comply with Company Health & Safety Policies, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. You will also be expected to drive a forklift in the yard as required, once training has been given. When required, you will drive company vehicles to collect/deliver parts and any essential equipment and help in the servicing and repairs to customers' equipment off site.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid UK Driving Licence
- Holder of a CSCS Card
- A valid Forklift licence (Not Essential as in-house training is provided!)
- Previous experience working in an active Yard.
- Ability to work on your own initiative or as a team
- Reliable and with a flexible approach to the needs of the business
