Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager for a Local Authority Homeless Hub, in North London. You will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority Housing setting. This is a fully on-site role.
Role Purpose
As a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for the smooth day to day management of the single homeless Hub, Mulberry Junction, providing innovative and effective management. Mulberry Junction comprises of a multi-disciplinary team working to deliver a co-produced and psychologically informed support service to prevent and tackle homelessness. This role will be varied, community facing, fast paced and outcomes focussed.
The service provides a trauma-informed and person-centred environment where people can access housing and homelessness advice and assessment, health and wellbeing support and opportunities to learn skills and access peer support. You will deliver line-management support and supervision, outcome monitoring and team development. The role will contribute actively to the delivery of the Council’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategies by supporting people to secure and sustain positive housing, health, and community outcomes.
To achieve this, you will empower your team and guests to access harm minimisation, primary health care, access benefits and immigration support. You will also be working in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team of statutory and voluntary services and practitioners to ensure people accommodated achieve positive health, housing, and social outcomes.
