Physiotherapist – Haringey Council

Contract: Locum | Full-time – 36 hours per week

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of Haringey Council for an experienced Physiotherapist to join their Access and Independence Service. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on empowering residents, promoting independence, and delivering high-quality care across the borough.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with Haringey residents to promote independence, wellbeing, and functional ability in line with Adult Social Care’s vision.
• Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessments, interventions, and rehabilitation plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to support integrated pathways for residents.
• Support team managers in delivering a consistent, effective and person-centred service.
• Provide professional supervision and guidance to Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.
• Uphold and model the Haringey values: Human, Ambitious, Accountable, Professional.

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
• Experience in community, reablement, or social care settings
• Strong assessment skills and ability to create tailored treatment plans
• Ability to work independently and part of an MDT
• Experience supervising junior staff or students (desirable)
