Pertemps Sheffield are currently recruiting for a Transport Office Clerk to join the team of one of our long-standing clients, based in Armthorpe, Doncaster!

The shift pattern available is the day shift (5am – 5pm). Successful candidates will be following a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Working for a global supply chain, your duties will involve:

  • General office duties
  • Meet and greet workers and drivers
  • Answering the phone and responding to emails
  • Booking in, handing out start times and allocating keys to drivers
  • Dealing with any queries
  • Assisting with the daily planning of staff and routes
  • Assisting the FLM
  • Reporting KPIs
  • Logging attendance
  • Liaising with agencies regarding staff/pay queries

Successful Candidates:

  • Punctual, reliable and hard-working individual
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic
  • Be over the age of 18 years old for insurance purposes
  • Respectful of all staff and vehicles
  • Previous experience within an administrative role is preferred.
  • Previous experience within transport is not essential however it is desirable.
