Job Description: Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for a Class C Drivers required Monday to Friday tramper to work out of a logistics site situated in Denaby, Doncaster South Yorkshire,
Duties will include:
Must Have 2 years to be covered under your Driver Neg
Between 4-6 drops
Curtain side work
Max 6 Points & No Major Endorsements even CU80\’s
All loads must be strapped & secured (As per government rules)
All Automatics UNLESS it\’s a hire truck & it could be Manual.
Doing 2 nightsout a week
Drivers Skills and experience:
Must have experience in multi-drop on a Class 2
Hold a LGV C licence with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
A driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and free of endorsements such as DD\’s, DR\’s or IN10s.
In return the LGV 2 Drivers salary
£30,000 based on a 45 hour week
Night out money is taxable, however all food purchased on the Monday (Lunch, Dinner) and Tuesday (Breakfast) and Thursday (Lunch and Dinner) Friday (Breakfast) is paid back on producing a receipt .
All parking is paid for via SNAP account, if safe parking is required and not on SNAP, this will be re-imbursed when handing in a receipt
There is a set rota as below
Week 1. Wales
Monday, 04:00 start, complete, if possible all deliveries. Usually between 4 and 6 drops. NIGHT OUT
Tuesday, start time to suit, complete any deliveries, or just run back to yard and finish.
Wednesday . 06:00 start, local deliveries (finish around 12;00-13:00)
Thursday, same as Monday NIGHT OUT
Friday, same as Tuesday
Week 2. South East Run
Monday, 04:00 start, complete, if possible all deliveries. Usually between 4 and 7 drops. NIGHT OUT
Tuesday, start time to suit, complete any deliveries, or just run back to yard and finish.
Wednesday . 06:00 start, local deliveries (finish around 12;00-13:00)
Thursday, same as Monday NIGHT OUT
Friday, same as Tuesday
Week 3. Day Runs
Mon-Fri Usual start time around 05:30, finish around 14:00
When colleagues are on holiday you will have to cover their respective rota to Wales or the South East
All Drivers pay rates are based on PAYE, we do not accept LTD or Umbrella companies.
