Pertemps are currently recruiting for Van Drivers for our public sector client to be based in the Edinburgh area supporting a busy waste and cleansing department.
Location: Edinburgh
Hours of Work: 4 days on 4 days off 06.00-17.02 with 45min break
Rate of Pay: £13.48 per hour rising to £15.08 as of 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a cleansing department van.
- Lead a small team of operatives to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Conduct street cleansing, litter collection, and waste management duties.
- Allocate tasks to team members effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent service to the community, representing the department with professionalism and integrity.
