Job Title: Postal Delivery Worker (Driving Licence required) Location: Hospital Road, Ellon, AB41 9JJ Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Early January 2025 initially Pay Rate: £16.58 per hour (early shift) and £17.29 (late shift) Working Hours: 9am – 6pm and 3pm – 9pm, working 6 days over 7. Please note that you would need to be flexible to work both shift patterns as it depends on the depot’s individual requirements Overtime may be available/ weekend work may be required. If successful, you must be able to pass a disclosure check. Pertemps are delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in the Ellon area. Key Responsibilities: You’ll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.You’ll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next.The role will be physically demanding, where you’ll be walking at least 8 miles per day.
