Hours: Monday to Thursday 0800-1630 & 0800-1530 Friday
Minimum of 39 hours per week

Main Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with plant and equipment, sharing knowledge and using initiative while on-site.
- Conduct and accurately record routine plant inspections.
- Perform scheduled servicing in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Carry out pre-through examination inspections to ensure equipment compliance.
- Provide familiarisation, guidance, and support to apprentices and operators on the safe operation and correct maintenance of plant.
- Advise on, or seek guidance for, plant modifications and development in line with Change Control procedures.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to introduce new technology.
- Train, mentor, and support the development of team members.
- Maintain the company vehicle and its contents to ensure full compliance.
- Respond promptly to unforeseen mechanical issues on-site, including outside normal working hours when required.
- Monitor and replenish spare parts carried in the company vehicle as necessary.
Requirements:
- Will be required to travel across Scotland
- A clean driving licence
- Level 2 VQ Plant maintenance and repair
