Pertemps Scotland Ltd are currently recruiting a Stores Assistant on behalf of their client based in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-organised team on a temporary basis.
Please note: A valid Level 2 Disclosure Scotland certificate is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Picking and packing stock items from picking lists
- Processing items through the till system
- Restocking shelves and carrying out stock rotation
- Receiving, off-loading and checking incoming deliveries
- Manual handling and heavy lifting (up to 35kg)
- Delivering canteen orders throughout the premises using barrows/trolleys
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Carrying out other duties as required
- Previous warehousing or stores experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Computer literate with strong administrative skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, organised, and physically fit
