Operations Technician – Customer Engineering Services (CES)\\n\\nScotland (Fully Remote / Mobile Role) \\n\\n£40,000 – £44,000 per annum + up to 8% annual bonus + excellent benefits\\n\\nLooking for a role where your skills truly make a difference? Join a team supporting industries that keep the world turning – from healthcare and pharmaceuticals to research, manufacturing and food.\\n\\nAbout the Role\\nWe’re on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Operations Technician to join our Central  Engineering Services team, supporting customers across Scotland. This is a fully remote,  mobile position – you'll operate from your home base, with a company vehicle provided, and  take full ownership of your schedule and diary.\\n\\nYou’ll play a key role in delivering technical support to a wide range of industries, working  independently while staying connected with a highly collaborative and supportive engineering team.\\n\\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\\n\\nCarrying out planned and defect maintenance on a range of systems\\nDiagnosing and repairing faults to ensure system reliability\\nProviding outstanding service and acting as the face of our engineering team on\\ncustomer sites across Scotland\\nManaging your own calendar and schedule to meet both customer and business needs\\nWorking closely with project engineers to support system installations and\\ncommissioning\\nGuiding and mentoring apprentices, trainees, and contractors once fully trained\\nSourcing and purchasing equipment, parts, and materials for workshop use\\nContributing to continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities\\n\\nWhat You’ll Bring\\n\\nA vocational qualification in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering (or\\nequivalent experience)\\nWelding experience would be highly beneficial, though not essential\\nA genuine desire to learn, grow, and share knowledge with others\\nA collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills\\nA proactive approach and the ability to build strong customer relationships\\nA high level of personal integrity and commitment to safety and compliance\\nStrong self-management skills and confidence working independently in the field\\nIndustry-specific training will be provided – what matters most is your attitude, curiosity, and willingness to grow.\\n\\nWhy Join Us?\\nWe are a leading name in the supply and servicing of industrial, medical, and specialty gas  systems.
