Looking for well-paid, flexible HGV work with one of the UK’s most recognisable brands? Pertemps is working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK’s trusted Universal Postal Service Provider, and we’re recruiting professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support operations at NEWTOWNABBEY BELFAST.
About the Role:
- You’ll be trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots nationwide.
- There will be some manual handling involved, all shifts are planned one week in advance for your convenience.

Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, held for at least 2 years
- Minimum 180 days of proven commercial driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 minor points (no DD, DR, IN, CD, or TT endorsements accepted)
- Strong geographical knowledge and professional attitude
- Understanding of Drivers Hours and WTD regulations
- Confident in completing manual tachograph entries
- Able to pass a DBS security check
- Must complete a site assessment and induction prior to first shift which is paid after the first week
