We are seeking a skilled Hooklift Driver to support operations at our Client's busy Recycling Centre. You will play a crucial role in the efficient collection and transport of recyclable materials, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate hooklift vehicles to collect and transport recycling containers.
- Deliver materials to and from various recycling facilities and client sites.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with safety standards.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
- Work closely with the recycling team to maintain high operational efficiency.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
- Current CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Valid tacho card.
- Previous experience operating hooklift vehicles is desirable.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of Edinburgh's road network and surrounding areas.
- A positive attitude and ability to work independently.
