Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience

My client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, ideally starting February/March 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment and play a key role in the smooth running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee processing of Sales and Purchase invoices
  • Assist with credit control and purchase ledger payments
  • Collate data for reports and monthly analysis
  • Process and pay employee personal expenses
  • Process, log, and check monthly credit card receipts and statements
  • Monitor fixed costs reporting
  • Assist with the production of monthly management accounts
  • Raise and allocate Purchase Orders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced finance environment
  • Proven ability to process high volumes of invoices
  • Discretion when handling confidential information
  • Knowledge of Xero (advantageous, not essential)

Skills:

  • Strong communication and numerical ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Assertive, adaptable, and strong problem-solving skills
