Pertemps are working with our public sector client to recruit a Business Support Administrator for the Roads Department on a temporary basis. Location: Edinburgh West Hours: Monday β Thursday: 08:30 β 17:00 (60-minute break). Friday: 08:30 β 16:00 (60-minute break). Pay Rate: Β£14.02 per hour Duration: Temporary (6 weeks) Start Date: Immediate About the Role This role provides administrative support to the Roads Department, helping to ensure services run efficiently. Youβll assist with general office tasks, record keeping, and communication with internal teams and the public. Main duties include: Providing admin support by phone, email, and in person. Processing correspondence, data, and service requests. Maintaining accurate records and databases. Assisting with reports, documentation, and meeting preparation. Handling information in line with data protection requirements. About You Previous admin or office experience. Good communication and organisational skills. Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office. Able to work accurately and meet deadlines. Team player with a practical, helpful attitude.
