Role Purpose
Our client is looking for Weekend Multi-Skilled Maintenance Fitters to play a key role in maintaining the operational reliability of production equipment. Working as part of the maintenance team, the individual will respond to breakdowns, carry out preventative and predictive maintenance, and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out corrective maintenance.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant.
- Work safely at heights and in enclosed or confined spaces.
- Maintain accurate records using IT systems for reporting and tracking maintenance activities.
- Participate in fault-finding and root-cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Ensure high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
Requirements
- Time-served in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven fault-finding skills and experience in a hands-on maintenance environment.
